Awareness is the first step on the journey to change. There are several ways that you can use self-reflection cards to become more aware of what is going on in your subconscious:
- Use them as writing prompts - pick a card at random and write two A4 pages in stream of consciousness style (do not stop but keep writing)
- Lay them out as if you would do tarot cards. For a simple spread to gain insight to a specific issue: pick three cards. The first is the issue, the second is some thoughts about the issue, and the third is the key to solving it. Remember that you are using your subconscious to work it out. No magic involved.
- Look at all the cards and find one that speaks to you. Write or doodle about what you see in the card.
